In short: no: 0.25mg of xanax (alprazolam) is the lowest dose of xanax (alprazolam) available. It is shorter acting than other similar medications in the same class (benzodiazepines). Taking that dose of xanax (alprazolam) once a day for 3 days, and 36 hours later you won't have any physical withdrawal, though you may have some short term cravings if it was helpful.
