Neck MRI shows some discogenic issues, which are unlikely of profound significance, and absolutely do NOT cause tinnitus which involves ear and/or brain issues. Medications and metabolic problems could cause this, but ear pathology could be suspected. Would obtain audiometric studies and work with otolaryngologist.

An ear examination is certainly in order. I would also suggest a TMJ evaluation. by a TMJ specialist. I have seen several thousand of these cases resolved It is very common for an internal derangement of the jaw joint to be the cause of Tinnitus. Trigger points in the temporalis &mandibular coronoid process also high in the Sternocleidomastoid muscle can also cause intermittent tinnitus.
