Have found Trazadone to be a useful sleep-inducer, over a short period of time, and actually find a bit less tolerance and sleep walking as contrasted to the usual sleeping pills, but do believe that Melatonin remains the safest. As mentioned, the true solution for insomnia is a sleep hygiene program. Have your primary doctor design this for you.
