Talk to doctor: You're also taking Brintellix, an antidepressant which can interact with Trazodone to boost serotonin in the brain. Meds and whatever you're calling a "manic episode" should be reviewed with prescribing doctor. Please don't make any changes on your own. Be sure to have regular appointments with prescriber or consider a psychiatrist. Your situation is complicated and requires careful monitoring.

Your medication needs to be managed by a Psychiatrist. If you are not confident in your Dr. please see another for a 2nd opinion. Medication alone may not be enough to help. Please see a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy to help. A complete physical exam could show if your symptoms are due to a physical illness. You may benefit from a sleep study.
