A member asked:

I exposed myself on 01/07/21 by fingering a woman who tested hiv positive days after the fingerfacking act.i took an antigen/antibody"duo test"on 7/9/21 where blood from my vain was drawn for laboratory test.results were negative.is this conclusive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If the potential exposure occurred in January and a Combo duo test was negative in July, you did not get infected with HIV from the episode in question. If you were exposed in July, you should get retested in a couple of months.
