Why do us people with hydrocephalus and vp brain shunts always get affected by barometric pressure change and how does it affect them?

Barometric pressure affects the intracranial pressure which in turn affects the CSF flow in the VP shunt. High barometric pressure increases intracranial pressure and vice versa.
