A member asked:

I had a vp shunt placed 2 weeks ago for hydrocephalus and it still hurts to put any pressure on my head why? is there still pressure inside?

Your skull should protect your intracranial pressure from being affected by putting pressure on your scalp. If you're concerned about ongoing head discomfort however, consult the surgeon who inserted the VP shunt.
