Based on a study result in England recently, adding dapagliflozin to an ARB drug (Telmisartan in your case) may be helpful in the treatment of primary FSGS and your nephrologist probably supports that. Unless you have this kidney condition confirmed by kidney biopsy and you failed the conventional treatment(s), you may give it a try but I do not favor this regimen as the first approach.
