A member asked:

I got an ultrasound of a lump in my groin (not a lymph node). the results were: capsulated stricture with echogenicity similar to subcutaneous fat measuring 1.8 x 1.1 x 1.5cm in size. no adenopathy. what does all that mean? findings said lipoma?

It describes a lipoma most likely as it seems to be encapsulated fat. Confusing as for location otherwise, make sure you confirm with your doc at follow up.

What you described is consistent with a lipoma, a benign condition of fat cells. Unless it cause discomfort or becomes a cosmetic issue, you can watch and wait. Wish you good health!
