A member asked:

I have a lump on my groin area (female). not painful and doesnt feel like a swollen lymph node. very soft and moveable. could this be a lipoma? i have other lipomas as well so i know im prone to them but are they common in the groin area?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lipomas can occur in the groin area. An other item to consider would be a hernia. It would be prudent to see your doctor for evaluation. Wish you good health!
