So sorry for your loss! Sometimes a massive heart attack can occur with no warning signs. The vague feeling of “not feeling well” may not have been related to his heart at all-it’s not possible to know for sure if it was related or not. The best way to avoid a heart attack is to be under a doctor’s care-keep blood pressure and weight controlled, exercise, avoid smoking, etc. So sorry for your loss

I always am concerned when a middle aged person has otherwise unexplained severe fatigue as I've had such patients who have gone on to have acute coronary events including sudden death days later. One older theory was that the coronary blockage was taking place days before the patient had the actual cardiac event.
