Can eating the wrong foods make a stomach ulcer start bleeding? i was in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer 2 weeks ago, and have since been put on esomeprazole & sucralfate. can i have a one-time fatty snack to break up the blandness in my new diet?

What is the logic here? I'm supposed to be on esomeprazole for a bleeding stomach ulcer but i can't afford it so i'm on omeprazole (free from hospital) but it doesn't work as well as ranitidine (otc)
Isnt PPI like Nexium (for acid reduction) and sucralfate (for covering effected area to allow healing)an ideal combo for stomach gastritis and ulcers?
Does sucralfate only works on ulcer site or the entire stomach lining which is inflamed/damaged during gastritis? Will it also prevent new ulcer?
According to your patients, what is the time frequency of Nexium (esomeprazole) fully healing their ulcers, or stomach problems?
When is sucralfate added with ppi for gastritis ? Is ppi alone not enough for healing of stomach lining or ulcers? I do not have h.pylori.
