Both can heal ulcers: Sucralfate was used to treat acute PUD PPI are now primarily used for acute PUD Role of Sucralfate in my ptactice is limited to bile induced symptomatic gastritis or esophgitis Has long list of interactions with different Medicine I usually use PPI in non HP PUD due to one a day convinience
