I had double vision, was sent by doctor to vascular surgeon, had temporal artery biopsy that was negative. i also saw rhematologist who stopped prednisone. what could cause pain at incision and in temples on both sides with headache after surgery?

Incisional pain usually subsides with time unless a painful nerve swelling (neuroma ) develops which is very rare. Headaches have many potential causes and are best evaluated by a headache neurologist.

A bit confusing as not clear what surgery was performed but appears giant cell arteritis not found. Headache requires further evaluation as need to receive diagnosis. See a neurologist and get clarification
