How long does it take for your doctor to refer you to a surgeon?? how long until you get the appointment?

The question should be asked of the doctor involved or their office staff. This site is where volunteer docs answer questions about health conditions based on symptoms you post. The processes by which various docs must do any referral will vary with the location, pre-authorization requirements of health plans, etc. Some health plans require use of those on a list. Contact the docs office.

Too many variables in your question to provide you with a meaningful answer. Surgery for what? Are tests needed first? How busy is the surgeon? Are they on vacation? Does your insurance need preapproval?
