Can perioral dermatotis around mouth area for an eight years old be linked to use of fluoride tooth paste? it seems to get better once we stop fluoride tooth paste ?

It should not be related. Fluoride is not usually linked to dermatitis. It could be ingredients in the toothpaste, but not specifically fluoride. Try a different fluoridated toothpaste.

Not a fluoride issue. May be related to sodium label sulfate or one of the other compounds in the toothpaste. There are alternative routes to fluoride delivery besides toothpaste. Talk to your Dentist or a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, for more information. Make absolutely sure that your child is seen by Dentist every 6 months, & @ his age he should have 1st Orthodontic (free) Exam.
