As you know toothpaste has proved to be an excellent way to provide fluoride and very significantly reduce tooth decay children need fluoride and by the way bottled water most all brands have NO fluoride and we are seeing an increase in tooth decay because people aren't drinking tap water

How old is she?: Can she comprehend spitting out the toothpaste? If not, a smidgen of children's toothpaste should cause no harm. She should still be getting fluoride into her system either through municipal tap water (if it is fluoridated) or via children's vitamins that have fluoride added.
