I have a 2 inch incision w/stitches on bottom of foot. it's not supposed to get wet but would it be okay if i accidentally got it wet in the shower as long as i dry it promptly? stitches are now 9 days old?

A one time exposure to clean water at day 9 should not cause problems. Watch f for redness, swelling and drainage from the wound. Schedule removal of the stitches with your PCP.
