A 16-year-old female asked:
3 months ago my hand got hit by a chair. now, after 3 months, there's still a bump there. it's as hard as a bone, sometimes hurts when you touch it or accidentally bump into something with it. what is the bump? how can i get rid of it?

Did you ever have your hand Xrayed? to check for fractures? It is possible that the bump is the spot where your bond fractured and is remodeling in the healing process. It can also be scar tissue located over a tendon injury or healing tissue over a break in the lymphatic sheath. It can take months or years for scar tissue to soften.
