A member asked:

I have a bump on my hand/wrist area that started off at an ingrown hair, and now has developed a 2nd bump, but this is not with fluid. its more of a hard, bone like feel rather than before. what could that possibly be?

What is described may be what is called a synovial cyst, typically occurring at the wrist , which is a small fluid filled hernia originating from the synovial lining of the wrist/hand junction.

If not ganglion cysts, which can be soft or hard, these could be bone spurs. Your MD,orthopedic surgeon or hand surgeon can examine and advise you.
