Looky, New Shoes.: These type of "corn" are very hard to make go away without changing the way shoes fit you foot. The shoes, and sometimes socks, squeeze the toes together. Over time the irritation causes the callus. Without allowing the toes the splay out, the success rate dismal. Padding, more often than not, just adds width to the toe area, making the problem worse. It's shoes or surgery.
