This is 3rd day taking cephalexin for a wound infection on right leg near calf. i still have throbbing pain, and inflammation. it does look like its healing tho as the gray in the middle is dissapearing. how long will pain last?

You don't mention what started the infection. If tissues are inflamed or if there is trapped pus, there will be pain and tenderness. If there's redness, swelling,tension.or tenderness the wound may need incision and drainage of pus. See a physician as needed or especially if not gradually improving.
