It’s safe unless you have pre-existing kidney problems. If you are generally healthy that’s unlikely at your age.

It may be too long. Your kidneys should be all right, cephalexin is usually not damaging to the kidneys.

Unless one has been told that he has kidney impairment, cephalexin at appropriate doses poses no risk to the kidneys.
