Can you use cephalexin 500ng2x a day for longer than 2 weeks if leg infection from turf burn is still present? or does indicate that antibiotics not working? it is slowing healing, still have white in middle of wound and red outside still?

Open abrasions can take a while to heal. However if you have concerns about the healing process, please see the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics as a second opinion to yours. Spreading redness or tenderness should prompt a sooner visit as infection may have progressed.
