There is an insect bite or a pustule on front side of lower left leg. it may or may not be an insect bite. there was some pus and redness spread around the area and there seems to be inflammation in the vicinity as well as on the ankle. any treatment?

Infection: Most likely this is an area of a staph skin infection. Keep the area clean and dry, use a thin layer of antibiotic ointment three times daily to the area and please see urgent care for evaluation, if worse or persistent symptoms occur. Monitor for fever, increased swelling, pus and redness.
