I have a uti and have taken cipro for 4 days and due to side effects switched to bactrim. do i take bactrim for 6 days to complete my original 10 day course or is it like starting over and i will have to take it for 10 days ? both are sensitive?

Probably 6 days is sufficient, but even this may be unnecessary. 4-5 days treatment usually is sufficient for an uncomplicated UTI. Ask the doctor treating you.
