: It depends what antibiotic(s) you are taking and what pathogen in the urinary tract we are looking for. Generally, test should not be done when you are on antibiotic(s) because a negative result will not mean much. Urine PCR test is reliable but a urethral swab is required for Mycoplasma, I think.
