: If you had the test just for detecting gonorrhea or chlamydia urethritis (a quick test), the test will miss other bacteria which also cause bacterial urethritis. There is a urine PCR test which can detect almost all bacteria in the urine but this one is not a rapid test. If you had this test done, it is more sensitive than a urine culture.
