A 40-year-old male asked:
Will lifting weights cause me to gain weight while on a low calorie diet? i've been told muscle weighs more than fat, but i'm trying to decrease my overall weight while trying to avoid adding bulk while keeping tone?

Fat floats muscle does not. In general a low calories diet causes weight loss both fat an muscle. You do not say how low your calorie intake is compared to your calories burned. Use the app Cronometer to track both. Then discuss with your exercise team.
