Fluid is always present in your stomach although you do not eat so if you vomit, the vomitus is gastroduodenal fluid, sour or bitter in taste. Your underlying disease or the medication(s) you are taking is the reason for nausea/vomiting. Antiemetic medication may help but it is important to know what causes these symptoms. Please talk to your doctor for a thorough evaluation.

Your treating physician has the best view on your situation as there are essential pieces of information missing.
