If you're being fed through a feeding tube rather than a central venous tube & there is a fatty emulsion in your TPN it could be slowing down gastric emptying causing nausea & vomiting. A gastroenterologist usually supervises TPN and I would direct this important question to him/her.

Fine adjustments may be needed in your TPN, specifically rate and sometimes content. On the blind side the condition for why you are on TPN may be causing the nausea or an unrelated condition. Your treating physician has the best view on your situation as there are essential pieces of information missing.
