There are articles that in some countries pfizer vaccine second dose one side effect got young people in heart inflammation. i think they termed it as myocarditis is it safe to take the covid 19 vaccine for a 14 year old kid?

The post vaccine myocarditis is rare and not life threatening. The COVID infection is, however, life threatening. Depending on where you are and how much COVID infection is around, the likelihood of COVID infection is higher than the risk of myocarditis.

Agree with Dr Hom. Also:COVID-19 vaccine is available, safe, and found to be effective for children 6 months and older and adults. In the US, it is emergency use authorized for 6 months and up and fully authorized for 16 years of age and up (Pfizer); 18 years and up for Moderna. I encourage everyone who is eligible to be vaccinated and boosted with whichever brand is available to them! (July 2022)
