Your boy has language delay problem. His current speech status is a red flag. He should have a full evaluation, please talk to his pediatrician.

NO! I might accept this in a 1 year old but never at 2. By 2 he should use 25-50 words & link them together in a short phrase like "go outside" . His words may be difficult for strangers to understand but he should have them. I would see his pediatrician, have his hearing checked and get evaluated by a speech/language professional.
