Find speech therapis: Some kids will go through a transient stuttering phase earlier but by 5 it would have faded. I would seek out a speech pathologist for evaluation & treatment. In the USA this is common enough that public school systems contract with these specialists & begin to look for such kids as early as 3 to begin therapy.
