I've been trying to lose weight since january, it's been 5 months and i only lost 10 lbs so far, and i need to lose at least 70 lbs. ok ... i'm not doing exercise i understand i have to but 10 lbs only? i've tried low fat, low carb, fasting none work?

It is important to know that your general medical condition is not causing the resistance to weight loss. Checking thyroid function, fasting blood sugar as an example are important. About 1.5 pounds per week with a good balanced diet that will include good fats, carbohydrates for immediate fuel, proteins to include lean meats and regular reasonable exercise with good sleep habits should help.
