Weight loss: Insulin is the master fat storage hormone. If you turn the "insulin thermostat knob" up you could weigh 500 lbs and if you turn it all the way down you could weigh what you did in highschool. If you limit your' insulin spikes you will effortlessly lose weight without hunger. So what causes insulin to be released? Fat? none. Protein? some. Healthy carbs? some. Refined carbs and sugar? a bunch.
