HbA1C of 5.7 to 6.4 is considered. Prediabetes. Blood sugar fasting should be below 100 to be normal and above 126 is diabetes. If you are overweight, reducing weight is always a good idea. If you are inactive, adding an exercise routine is helpful. If you are consuming prepackaged food, change to healthy food. Please repeat these tests after making these lifestyle changes. Hope it helps.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are borderline. If you are even slightly overweight, lose weight and exercise regularly. Wish you good health!
