Why would my dr order a metabolic panel, lipid panel, c reactive protein test, hemoglobin a1c and a glucose test for poor eating and stomach pain?

These are the routine tests done to look for underlying issues such as diabetes, hematologic, liver and kidney disease, etc. I agree that most of those tests may not be related directly to your symptoms.
