A member asked:

My glucose is all the time above 120s, hba1c is 6.2 i can't do any activity even stand on my feet for minutes without my sugars constantly raising then dropping with hypoglycemic symptoms. is this prediabetes?

That A1c does put you in the prediabetes category. However spontaneous episodes of hyperglycemia followed by hypoglycemia are not typical. Have you documented blood sugars over 140 & then under 70 when you have these episodes. A 6 hour glucose tolerance test and/or consultation with a diabetologist or endocrinologist for accurate diagnosis & followup would be worthwhile
