I had hiatus hernia surgery 27th january. im currently taking acid and inflammation tablets. i have lost a lot of weight, still on a restricted diet, have not touched alcohol since dec. i have a burning sensation under my feet, what does this mean?

If you do not have any other disease such as diabetes or alcoholic liver disease, the burning sensation could be a sign of vitamin deficiency, especially you are on a restricted diet. I suggest a therapeutic trial with multivitamins + B complex for 3 months, if the symptoms resolve, you continue multivitamins, one a day. If you have other disease, you should see your doctor for this symptom.

No correlation between surgery and burning feet. The fact that you are loosing weight and avoiding alcohol are good things. Your PCP should be able to assist you with your burning feet.
