Burning sensation in the incision area where right inguinal hernia surgery was done 9 months ago . i checked with the doc. he said nothing wrong. help?

Post Op: It is common, especially in the inguinal area, to pull or irritate the mesh or scar tissue from a previous hernia repair. This sensation should ease over the next few days.

Could be nerves: Burning is usually a neuropathic pain. He is right to say nothing wrong but that doesn't help you with your symptoms. You may need to see a pain specialist to try and inject the incision and see if this helps.
