All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Been drinking about 100oz/day (weigh 215 lbs), in sept fasting glucose was normal, insulin was 21. Peeing 10x/ day. Should I worry?
Liver enzymes were normal in early April AST was 32, ALT was 28, at that time I was drinking maybe 4 or 5 pints of beer on weekends (no alcohol during week). Since then, I have had 5-8 pints per wknd...blood test in a week ..will liver levels rise?
