I have an elevated lipase level. lab range is 23-300. i tested 397 was put on a clear liquid diet for 3 days return to normal eating habits for 2 days. test again and my level increased to 491. my doctor hasn't tested analyze yet. please advise?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,if you take alcohol, stop entirely. Avoid fatty foods Wish you good health!
