I have a large ovarian cyst which is pressing on my bladder, i got ultrasound which confirmed this. can you prescribe me medication to shrink this cyst on my ovary?

There is no medication to shrink ovarian cysts. Follow up ultrasounds will monitor the cyst. If this is a recurring problem for you, starting hormonal contraceptive pills may help to prevent future occurrences. If the ovarian cyst lasts longer than 3-4 months with no change, or if it is noted to be complex with multiple sacs, your Dr may consider surgery to remove it.
