Ask gynecologist: Ovarian cysts with clear fluid and no solid elements or wall thickening are usually benign Enlargement of ovary by cyst has increased incidence of ovarian torsion which can cause ischemia/death of ovary.Sometimes reversible. Patient usually presents with acute lower abdominal pain and sometimes vomiting. You should consult gynecologist for advice as to close imaging followup or surg. intervention
