Loose stools and significant white mucus in stool after starting to take magnesium citrate (150mg, 1 x daily) and probiotic (50bn cfu 1 x daily). used to be constipated (6 months). had fecal calprotectin test 4 months ago and was negative. ibs?

Constipation: You may better off by increasing your fiber and water intake. You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods.
