Good day. i have been coughing for about 4 days now, like there is something irritating my throat. i consulted when i had flu and was given antibiotics, acc200 and dilinct dry cough syrup. i am overall fine but i am just still coughing?

Coughing from a viral illness can persist for weeks. If you have no fever, shortness of breath, green sputum , give more time.

The most common reason for a cough is post nasal drip which is worse when laying down. After infection, it is common for the membranes to need to heal, it's the irritation of the membranes after an infection can cause a cough. You should see a doctor get an opinion on your condition
