Mgt/workup: Sometimes during a viral illness there can be bleeding from small vessels which lining the nose, throat and airways. The blood may be from the uppper airway rather than the lungs. If it continues or increases, please have a medical evaluation and TB testing. Nasal saline, gentle nasal rinse and throat lozenges may alleviate the symptoms.
