Low platelets: Aside from blood and/or liver disorders that may result in low platelets, infections and drug side effects are most commonly causing low platelets and their effects are transient if treated properly or the offending drug being removed. Follow up with your treating doc would be best to have your condition better explained and precautions taken going forward.
