My 9month old daughter has a blocked/runny nose. she coughs every now and then. mostly when she's sleeping. what can i give her? i've only given her calpol but it's not helping?

Saline nose drops: Use saline nose drops in your child's nose and then suction the mucous with a bulb syringe to help with nasal congestion. Babies don't mind too much if their nose runs, but they get very fussy if they can't breathe through their noses! Use a cool mist humidifier. You should not give any over-the-counter cold medicine to a baby without a doctor's recommendation.
